OUR MISSION
Lean In D.C. serves as a regional network for Washington, D.C.'s Lean In Circles. We facilitate small, peer-support groups, as well as the larger conversation, to create a space for conversations about gender bias and the leadership gap, and to empower more women to achieve their personal and professional goals.
Lean In D.C. organizes speaker series, trainings, and networking happy hours. These events feature experts on managing difficult conversations, writing op-eds, confronting challenges of inequality in the workplace, taking on roles as thought leaders, and feeling empowered in their personal lives.

OUR VISION
In the 2018 year, Lean In D.C. will continue to grow and maintain Circles in the chapter, host monthly networking and educational events, build a culture of collaboration and camaraderie, further establish the Lean In D.C. brand, and execute the Equal Pay Day Campaign. We empower our members to acquire the skills to take on leadership roles, participate in civic life, and contribute to positive change in their communities.
